Default Ford vs G&Z

I am about to trade my Lighting for a z or g. I hear alot of people complaining about the tires on the z. Are there any such issues with the G. Or should I just buy a mustang Mach 1 305hp or the Corba 390hp. What do you guys think. Please tell any success or horror stories about your Z or G.

We need a stick post about some of this stuff...

Here goes:
1. The 2004 and 2004.5 Z's have had very few if any Tire feathering issues.

2. The Enthusiast model is the best value, they can be had for around $28-29K depending on tranny

3. Going fast in a straight line is cool with the Mustang, but the Z loves the curves! With 390 HP and gas prices they way they are, I suspect the Z is a bit better value.

4. 2500 miles on my 2004.5 Enthu. I've loved it every second.

5. Mod's for the Z don't add too much power, unless you spend some real bucks and go for a supercharger or twin turbo. These mods will put a serious dent in your bank account.

6. The 2005 models go on sale around August, and will be available around Sept.

7. Performance Nissand and Courtsy Parts are both good places to oprder stuff from. They support the Z community, and they have great customer service and prices. I've bought a few things from both of them, and I've been very happy.

That completes this broadcast of the Z information network. We now resume you show, already in progress.

I own both....depends what you're looking for.

Tell us what your goals are and I can tell you which way to lean.

Perfect solution. Get a used Z, and with money saved buy a Greddy TT kit
