Need advise what to do?
Please help? In March I placed an order for a 350z Track w/ nav. I wanted the car built because of the earlier production problems. The car should be arriving in 2 to 4 weeks. My problem is that I work for the U.S. Government. I was told today that in January 2005, I will be sent off to Iraq for 1 year.
My question to the general forum is what to do with the car? Can I get out of the contract that I signed with the dealer ship and get my $3300.00 back. I intended on leasing the car. Should I just opt to purchase the car out right or just walk from the deal. I know the dealership will have no problem selling the car. But what can I do and what are my rights legally. I don't want to lease a car that I'm not driving. Purchasing it is an option I will be making enough cash to pay it off in less than a year.
Please help....?

Have you told the dealer of your new assignment? I'm sure if you explained the situation to them and showed proof that you really do have orders to Iraq they would let you out of the deal with a full refund or at the worse refund a portion of it. I would try that before any of the other suggestions you made. You can they buy a 2006 when you return, if you survive!
