Default **Anyone have a "How To" instructions for 350z OilChange?**

Hey Guys,

Planning on performing my first oil change on the Z tomorrow and was hoping that one of you guys had a step by step how to guide/thread regarding how to do this.

I bought the filter from the dealer yesterday...and is it just me or is this filter REALLY small? (I've come from BMW filters, and those are much larger)

I looked in the engine bay and am guessing the filter should be taken out/put in from below the car?

Any help would be much appreciated!

The filter does seem relatively small. There is a larger size available from several brands. Just do a search on oil filters.

Yes, you must go under the car to change the oil/filter.

OverZealous posted this write up on how to change the oil. I haven't read much of it in detail, but ran into it awhile back.

BTW, be prepared to have a tough time getting the original filter off. It's torqued on good and tight from the factory.
