Unhappy Car is aparently having some major issues

Last Friday I was on my way home, when my car stalled out, at first I thought maybe I had made a bad shift or something, but the car wouldnt start up. This was probably the worst time and place, considering it was the middle of rush hour on a very busy road with no shoulder or turn off's. I also left my cell phone at home so I was stuck in the middle of the f***in road. Eventually some people were kind enough to help my push the car through traffic to a nearby Denny's parking lot, where I was able to call AAA. While in the parking lot I checked out everything, and it seemed ECU related, but it was hard to tell at the time, so I figured I should have it towed to Nissan, even though I was somewhat reluctant to let them work on my car after seeing there shop, but I figured that way it would be under warranty and I wouldnt have to call in a favor from the shops I know. Anyway they said it would be ready by Monday at the latest. The called monday morning when i wasnt home and my girlfriend got the call, and later told me they said "The computer was acting funny and might need to be replaced, but they werent sure thats would fix the problem" So eventually I called back and the guy I talked to said they still had no idea what was wrong with the car, I'm starting to get a little pi$$3d and worried about my baby, and things are getting diffacult only having my Bimmer. Has anyone else experienced similar experience of the car simply stalling and then not starting up like it has no gas? The guy I talked to mentioned the ECU was sending out wierd signals that they have never heard of, and that Nissan had some specialist working on it. Sorry about my ranting I'm just a little disapointed by having a car, that i baby'd so much in the shop with significant issues after only 1600 miles. I used to be a mechanic and they seem to be very confused with some stuff, so any advice would be helpfull.

Thanks,
Chad

i think i know what you're getting at but this doesn't sound like the popcharger problem because the car won't start back up...i remember a TSB from Nissan about this problem; where the engine would suddenly just die...it was a faulty electrical part that was causing the problem i'm pretty sure. Anyone know the TSB i'm referring to?

actually i think this was the subject of a recall and TSB if it's the same problem (relating to your engine sensor). Symptoms sound the same. Check this out:
