If someone got a speeding ticket and the court date stated on the "Notice to appear" was a SUNDAY, what does that mean legally? Is the person supposed to show up, or is he off the hook?

 

This happened to me once, I had to drive about 2 hours to the court, then they told me to come back on monday. Bastards.
