Question do we really need ZISME?

personally...i think ZISME is great...but i don't think we need him that much. When the 350Zs are out in Aug, ZISME will not be as important since we could just go to the dealership and check out the cars ourselves. Not flaming here...it is just my opinion. feel free to respond

I don't understand why Zisme would post on the trash board rather than here.

There is a guy who has been blatantly trolling and there seem to be no moderators.

Does anyone know why Zisme doesn't post here?

Do we need ZISME? Well, we all seem to have the same desperate desire for accurate information from a trusted source, and ZISME certainly seems to fit that description. So yes, right now I think we need him, and we all wish he spent time on this forum.

Once we all have our Zs, we won't need anyone to fill in the information gaps, but until then we should be grateful that he has stuck around, especially through all the cr*p at that other forum. Why he has stuck with that forum is completely beyond me, as the flamers over there don't appreciate his efforts at all.

Hey, if I were an accountant for Nissan (my dream is to be an accounting for a large car company ) I'd know everything about the Z - so don't say that Jay! I know that you're just trying to point out that the person posting from the nissan usa IP may not be involved with the Z, but that doesn't mean that they don't know about the Z.

It's always good to see someone involved with a specialty car project communicating directly with customers. I hope he keeps the information flowing even after the first model is released. He seems like an enthusiast as well as a product manager.

Sounds like a great birthday present from a wonderful wife....my best friends husband is a major car nut. He has many fine cars (67 corvette convertible blue printed, saleen mustang convertible and many more) For his last birthday she surprised him with the blue/white viper coupe he always wanted. What a great present for a guy that has most everything he wants.

Hmm... lets see, someone fairly high up at Nissan who takes the time to answer questions and talk to people on the 350Z community... NAH, we dont need that!

(sarcasm mode off)

Look - what's the point of this thread? What we need is anyone who is interested in the Z to hang out and discuss it, Zisme included. I for one think it's great that he takes the time to read these forums (meaning 350z sites in general), and answer peoples questions.

Just my opinion!

I can't speak for anyone else, but I sure "need" him. I'll take good inside information any day.

i'm sure lots of people do this anyway but just a suggestion in case someone out there doesn't...

but i go to zcar and just do a "search" on ZISME as the author of posts and un-click everything else so that only his comments come up and read thru the info ....

...it helps cut thru the boring flaming trash-talk

Default ZISME IS GREAT!!

He has helped me with confirmation information. He tracked down my order( somethihing my dealer could not do) DA!!. He also was involved in getting me access to the car in Atlanta. This guy is great! He wants the 350 Z project to be a success. I spoke with him on the phone months ago, and is along with other Nissan folks surfing all 350z sites to get a feel of our issues. His word is the GOSPEL!!!! Nice guy too!!

I think there are a few of us who would be glad for your explanation.
