Smile Bought New Z today....Best Day of My Life!!

Well, today was the Big Day. I finally sold my car and got enough money to go out and buy a Z. I bought a red manual 2004 Enthusiast Z. It has to be one of the happiest dayz of my life. One thing I have noticed while driving it though is my hands shake. I dont know if its the adreneline running through my body or what. I feel really nervous while driving it. So many people stare at the car, its unbelievable. I have also drove a Manual transmission my whole life and I found it actually a little difficult to drive this one. It might just take me a while to get use to. Well last, but not least I just wanted to say thank you to everyone in this Forum and the man that started my350z.com. I joined this web site 3 months ago and have read every Forum on here and because all of you is the reason I bought this awesome car. I love every bit of it and hope to be a happy Z owner for a long time from now. I will keep faithfully looking at this site everyday, and now start Modding my car once I get a little extra money. I am broke now, but what the hell, its only money, ands its for sure worth it for the 350Z.
Thanks again to all,
nroman

Don't forget to break it in properly 'til about 1200 miles then your hands would really shake on a WOT acceleration. Congrats for buying the best bang for the buck model.

Congrats.

That sentense makes me nervous. My Z is on order and I can't even drive a manual yet. I have 3 months to learn. Don't scare me like that man.

Congrats. Just remember to take care of the car really really well. If you're having a lot of fun right now, wait till you go redline on your shifts, its like 5 times more fun. Its not too long ago since I started goin hard on my Z sometimes and I can tell you that it feels like heaven when you can use full potential of the car. Good Luck.

Heh I had trouble at first as well. Stalled it once on the test drive ... really tight clutch from what I was used to.

Its good to see posts like this, reminds us all of the day we picked up ours. Congrats, you made a wise purchase!! Dont worry about the shaking, it goes away after a while. That is until you break 1200 miles then it starts all over again

Good luck and welcome!

break in on the z can't be that painful at least you get to enjoy its beautiful styling...which is half its appeal. imagine breakin on a wrx, sti or evo.
