Default Used 03 Z for $29k - Too much?

I was originally looking at G35's (still am) and I came across a Z at the used lot. I'm pretty sure its an enthusiast or performance trim model 5AT, 2003. Either way, they're asking $29k for it and its got 11k miles on it! I think thats way way too high, considering the car can be bought brand new base model for $28k right?

I even saw a laser red G35 that had 2k miles on it for $30k. I can understand that, its hardly any miles, but $29k for a car that has 5 times the miles as the G did? I'm hoping to use their want to sell it as mercy to get me out of my loan but we'll see. (insert evil laugh) Tell me your opinions, on what to expect and what to look for on used or privately owned Z's/G's?

I paid a little over $28k including tax for my 03 touring. The car is showroom condition inside and out and it had only 8k miles. See if they'll work with you, if not shop around. It sucks to turn your back on a Z but sometimes you just have to go look somewhere else in order to get a deal you can live with.

I paid 30K for my 03 track a couple weeks ago, and it only had 1600 miles. Basically brand spankin new. Shop around, and you should be able to beat them up pretty good on that price.
Good Luck!

If you could get it out the door for 29k it wouldn't be that bad then.

The Z price is definitely high. It's an Enthusiast. You can probably get a brand new Enthusiast out the door for that price.

I got my 04 Performance for 29.5 out the door. That price is BS. Offer to pay 500 over invoice. Good luck!

Well I told the dealer that a new one is available for the same price and told them they'd have to seriously work with me if they wanted it sold. I haven't received a phone call in 2 weeks yet. Hehe, guess they knew there was no chance foolin me.

That's a normal dealers BS price for idiots. You can get brand new car with 08 miles for that money or less. Just shop on nissan website and see what dealers sell at MSRP or less. You can get well below MSRP for new car, depends how far you willing to go for pickup.

Way too much for that car, like the guy said shop you wil find one for less. If its an auto its an Enthusiast which really makes it a very high price.
