Hey guys,
I am posting this here to see if any other Z owner's have experienced this. I have an 04 Z. This just happened to me on the 2nd occasion. One was over a month ago at church, and just thought it was weird. 2nd time happened last night at the local ice cream shop.

I got out of the car hit the lock button and the car honked, simplyed walked away. Came back and hit unlock twice for passenger and driver side. Lights flashed twice, grab door handle on driver side, it is locked. Hit it again, locked. Stepped back and sat for a few seconds, watched the lights flash again, and locked. So i said **** it. So then i get out the key turn left, locked, turn right, locked. VERY VERY weird.... dont do anything and walk to the passenger side door, grab handle, unlocked. Reach in hit unlock from the door, walk to driver side and unlocked. very very weird, thought i was a pyscho first time, but 2nd time something is happening, i think i have a ghost or a cursed Z...


Anybody else ever experienced this before?

 

A couple of times my lights have not flashed, but then I realized that it was because the rear hatch wasn't 100% shut. I don't knwo what's going on if the lights flash and then it's still locked though.

 

Just sounds like you have a bad actuator on the driver's side. Take it to the dealer and get it fixed. Thats what warrentees are for.

 

So the car is not possessed then?

 

I think this situation results to EXORCIST PART 3-The Cursed Z!!!

 

lol, I'm sure the dealer can figure it out for you. They are contractually obligated to anyway.
