Post Dealer / 04 Z / Tire Feathering / Resolution!

Hey guys,
I just wanted to give you guys an oversight on things. For you '04 guys if you are experiencing any tire feather and road noise please take your car into the dealer, they are doing things about it.

Now let me give you my situation, i bought the '04 DB Enthusiast back on Jan 23. It came with of course the 17's and i happen to buy the 18's off a touring model and off forum member Rutter. He is awesome and treated me very good. Now when I went into the dealer I was telling them nothing about me changing the wheels, cause i was afraid they would tell me they are not what came on my car.. blah blah. So I kept my mouth shut, but these wheels had about 4k miles on them on the '03 and i have put about 3k miles on them on my '04. So a total of 8k miles roughly. So the noise was getting bad, and they test drove it, and said the nose was very very bad and how i could ever drive like that. They tested them and said they are "cupped" really bad. The guy was very nice and told me he would have to speak to a rep and try to tell them and explain to them that to let the recall work on the '04 models and get me new tires. He said he did alot of talking and convincing, and they hooked me up with new tires at no cost and should be here Monday!!!

NO MORE ROAD NOISEE!!!!!!

Cupped?? What tire PSI do you run?? Cupping = too low a pressure... Try running 35lbs all around... that what I use, no noise & no feathering.

He said cupping, but i run about 36psi on all my tires, and yes only the front two. And this will not come back again and again, i have an '04 and this has been fixed. I just bought these tires off an '03 which had already been feathered from there mis alignment, so i should never have any more problems!
