Cold temps probably help them as well. FI loves cold.

Not necessarily. Turbo's seem to lose more power due to the amount of air those engine need. At high altitude in moderate temperatures the 350 would probably not lose as much power as the 300TT. It would all depend on altitude/temperature variations. DSM'ers always quote their altitudes with their times because their cars are heavily affected by increases in altitudes.

Any car loses power in higher altitude. Typically, though, FI cars due to the increased pressure of air they are breathing lose less oxygen than NA engines, because of the compression of the air. Same with cold, dense oxygenated air becomes even more dense with FI.

Hey Zoot,

Your most likely seeing me....I got a silverstone with the mud guard thingies...I'm in Santa Monica and work at UCLA so I'm cruising around there all the time. LA-Z if you want to swing by one evening I'd love to check out your Z too.

Has there been discussion of an LA meet yet?
