could be a Z owner really soon..help
Hello,
I could be a Z owner very soon, friend who owns a dealership says in two weeks its coming in..... but my dillema is as follows, outside of internet and brochure, i haven't seen one in person yet, so i turn to u, faithful z owners, to help convince me to get this car...i need that extra push in the right direction.
Right now i have a superchgd 97 mustang which is modded up
and I can only have one car... how do i part with that...plus i get the fun task of car shopping so my options are open. Help a possible z owner out.
p.s. - is the track model worth the extra $ ? which way to go?
Patrick

imo, if u can accept the interior in ur mustang, u will pretty much "enjoy" the interior in the 350z, it's absolutely stunning when u see it in person, btw, u get alot of heads turning on the street too. as i say,"GO FOR THE Z DAMNIT!!!" J/K

I compare the track with the performance. The only thing that the track has over the perf is the rays, the brembos and the spoiler.
I am getting the track, the extra $$ doesn't mean that much to me. I like the looks of the rays and can't think of a better looking wheel. Also they are specially forged for strength and light weight. I believe a set of 4 rays wheels are in the $2-3K range.
The weight saved by the wheels is given back by the larger brembos. The stock brakes are fine in every day use, the brembos are more for track because of their fade resistance. To me I think that the brembos are worth the extra jack for looks alone. To me a wheels with large openings look best when the brakes seem to fill up that space. If you look at the cost of aftermarket brembos (4 wheel) about $5K.
The spoiler costs $500 on any other car.
