Question how does the aftermarket leather feel?

i'm assuming it wraps over the cloth seats... does the leather slide around a little on top of the cloth?

If it's done right, no it doesn't slide over the stock cloth, it replaces it. Mine's custom-stitch. Doesn't slide a bit. If you go for generic replacement leather seat covers, I think it might slide. Spend the extra cash and get it done custom. The results are 500% better. Obviously, I think it's money well spent, IMHO.

The leather seats should replace the cloth. My leather seats were made by Classic Soft Trim. They look great, and are very comfy, yet give good support.

I got Katzkin and it too replaces the cloth and I am very happy with them. The key is in the install. I went to a reputable auto apholstery shop to get it done. I'll look for photos and post them.

The cloth seats can easily be unzipped & removed. I can't imagine any competent installer putting the leather over the cloth.

How's the quality of the Katzsking leather? Does it feel strong, or is it thin feeling? I am having black Katzskin seats put in my Chrome Silver on Tuesday at Sunrise Auto Upolstery in Lynbrook. It's going to cost $900, so you got a good deal.

To me the leather feels thick, thicker than the OEM leather and a little tougher.

When I had leather put in my Maxima, it felt nicer than the factory. I just hope my Z leather is as good as yours.
