Rattle in dash

Rattle in dash
Anyone else have a rattle in the dash, I don't know where it's coming from... I can fix it by turning up the radio but I would like to really know if anyone has a simular problem and if they had it fixed?

I believe the popular answer, (besides "use the search"), may be the rear view mirror, (try holding it when you hear the rattle and it may go away). Failing that it could be the temp sensor on the passenger side of the dash by the windshield. If none of those are the cause of your rattles then I've no idea. The only other thing I can think of it the air bag in the steering wheel which squeaked in my car but I had the dealer fix that.

Have you checked to see that its coming from where the defroster air comes from in the front? I got one from there but fixed it. I hate rattles. Now I have a squeak in the seat....errr

I have a rear view mirror rattle, but I will be fixing that soon with crazy glue.
I also had the rattle where the windshield defroster vents are. It was right in the center of the car, and the top layer of plastic would rattle against the lower layer. I gradually filled it in with the thick plastic model cement (basically super glue) and it has finally stopped. It took a while though becasue there is a large air gap that the glue had to fill.
I may just buy the accessory rear view mirror with the compass if I can't get my stock one to stop rattling. We'll see how it goes. I haven't used this much model cement since the 8th grade.
