ZDayZ - The Official Pics, Stories, & Comments Thread!
The weirdest thing about driving The Dragon for me was how much the driver's side A-Pillar got in the way on those hard left turns. I found myself leaning forward to see around it or looking out the side window a lot just so I could see what was coming up on those really sharp lefts.
It really was a TON of fun though!

Z-freaks,
I would like to assure you all that I am now on medication for aggressive driving habits. It requires at least 2 doses of the dragon a year. I must say before the first trip over the dragon I gave Andy my living will. The second trip on over the dragon I gave andy the Butt Pucker Dyno ride. The third trip over the dragon I gave that freeking Red Silverado with the fishing boat the finger. On the forth trip over the dragon I gave the dragon some smily faces with my tires on the bootleggers I pulled, 5 in all. On my fith run over the dragon I hope I gave Matthew a good run, and saving some of you a night in jail by chatting with the cop. After the dragon and I danced I had to depart and run to Rockingham and settle a score from work where a fellow I work with said he couldn't lose to a single overhead cam in a 1/4 mile, Well I happy to say I ran a 13.11 sec/104.14 mph quarter to his 14.28 sec/89.34 mph,did I mention it was a 240Z, sorry seems like I ruffled Z feathers all weekend. After the weekend I had, I now need tires, brakes, a front end alignment, new (modified/fabricated) rear fender braces (4 link traction bars kind of wrecked them), damn! I loved every minute of it. I would like to thank Andy for inviting me, even though I am Z-less; Morris for the snoring and tee-shirt (just kidding about the snoring, but I'm sure you lost your security deposit for the missing paint); Dr. Bonz for the demo, I have had Zaino sitting in the box for six months and just terrified of the claybar, well no longer scared of the claybar; Matthew for the footage of some great drifting and power sliding; and for the rest of you guys thanks for putting up with me, and even thanks for all of the ribbing about the truck. You guys might want to look at the color of your exhast now, before the dragon only my headers were nice and blue, now the down pipes, cats, runnings pipes, x-pipe, and even the front half of the resonators are a nice shade of indigo blue ; p
All of you guys are great and maybe next we can finish slaying that dragon.
TO settle any questions about the truck:
2003 Ford Lightning
5.4 L super charged(eaton M90 single screw roots blower)
15 PSI boost
Full Bassani Exhast (which is all nice and indigo blue now)
ram air hood (functional)
95mm Calibration MAF (ram air too much for stock)
electric cooling fan(dual 17"s) and electric water pump
C6 automatic transmission w/ 3.73 LSD 9.75" rear
18x9.5 aluminum 5 spokes w/295zr45x18 Goodyear Eagle F1s
in the ball park of 400RWHP and 500 RWft/lbs
Future mods:
Viper RT/10 wheels 17x10" fronts and 17x13" rears
Poly bushings
stiffer springs
slotted rotors
2 to 4 inch suspension drop
all the better to slay the dragon with ---------------------->

Bryan, I'm think your missing a future mod, you forgot the barf bag!! The way you were slinging that truck in and out of the corners, I know I would need one riding with you!
I have a pic to add. It's the money shot from the ground of the DAM gathering.

If anyone wants a high res copy I will be happy email it. just PM me. For those that have the disk, #139

Good stuff! That red car's great! Is that a BMW? There's a blue 350Z ahead of him, pulling on him, and he can't shake you!
I love tweaking BMWs. They usually have this oh-so-superior attitide.

We will have some in car video of Doug by the end of the week. I think Bini has a couple minutes of a Crawford Z session until the tires warmed up and he was GONE
