Tall Guys in the 350Z - Do U Fit?
Since this car is so rare and there aren't any vehicles out there to test drive, I'm not sure I'll even fit into the one I ordered. I tried to compare the cockpit to similar vehicles (Audi TT), but the Z is the Z, and comparisons are the real deal.
I'm 6'4" tall with long legs (35" inseam). Are there any guys this height or taller who are currently driving and how comfortable are you in the car? I'd hate to be waiting until December only to find out that I can't accept delivery because I don't fit in the car. Let me know.
PS
I searched the archives and I didn't come up with this in some of the earlier threads. if it's out there, please direct me - thanks.

Yeah, you'll fit. One guy I met while waxing the car was 6'6" and he fit. It looked a little bit tight, and he had the seat pretty much all the way back. He said he was comfortable though.
where in CT are you?
Come to the Bob Sharp Z Car Club show on Oct. 20

This is encouraging news. Gee, guess I'll have to keep the car I ordered....

Hey, I live in Hamden and work in New Haven. Email me and come have a test sit.
Pretty busy during the week, but should be free in the evenings.
You're not the guy I met at Executive....no, he definitely wasn't over 6 foot.
Oh, for show details, check out

Bob Sharp is in Wilton....not sure where in CT that is, but it's a small state, can't be too far away.

You'll be surprised by theamount of room you have once you get in. I'm 6'4 with a 34" inseam and have room to spare with legs and head (at least two inches clear from roof)

I've not found a Z to sit in yet here, either
I did go see a G35C on Saturday, though. Even with the sunroof, I had decent headroom. The bottom of the seat on that car is kinda tight, but I think I'd get used to it. I think the G35 has maybe one inch more quoted headroom (not sure if the sunroom is included or not in that inch).
BTW, I'm 6'1", 195, 34" inseam.

I'm 6'5" with a 36" inseam and I fit better then I do in my current SUV. I plan on getting a Z next summer. Either that or I am going to go sit in a G35 Coupe and see how I fit, but those are supposed to be smaller.. we'll see..

My cousin and nephew are both approx. 6'3" 225-240 lbs. and they both loved how comfortable they fit so you should have no problem.
P.S. I am planning to go to the Bob Sharp show also. Hope to see you there.

I'm lucky enough to get a "Test Sit" this week from a current owner. I can't wait.
Thanks!

Little late to the game, but now that I have my car, I can express an educated opinion...
I'm 6'4", and had never driven the Z until today. Head room is NOT an issue, unless for some reason you decide to crank the seat all the way up (height-wise).
The one minor note to make is that rear-ward visibility for taller folks is a bit compromised, due to the third brake light obstructing some of the rear view. It's not overly problematic, but when compared to the GREAT rear visibility my Pathfinder affords, you definitely notice the difference. People 5'10" or shorter definitely have an advantage when looking rearward...
Other than that minor niggle, the car is superb for anyone of above-average height.

Andrew, I live in Middletown and am not sure exactly where Wilton is either. Maybe we could meet up somewhere early that morning and drive down together (my 9 year old will be coming with me). We may look like twins since we have the same car but it still would be nice to have at least two 350Z's show up at the same time. Let me know if this is OK with you.
It would be nice if there were other 350Z owners in Connecticut going that would like to caravan together but I do not know of any. Do you?

My friend Pete (6'11") got in my Z with me. While he couldn't really fit in the driver's seat, he said the passenger seat was actually comfortable. He even had a little head room! It's the only sports car he's ever been able to fit in.
