Unhappy Hawk pads fitment issues...anyone had these

Well I just got some Hawk Pads and was wondering if they are a direct fit with no fitment issues. Someone told me they dont fit just right. I was gonna tackle this myself but my mechanical skills are as good as Shaq's freethrows are ( not that good ). I have a friend who offered to help me WLD350Z with the install. My question is how difficult is it to change brake pads on a Z. Is it a easy install or should I get some help with this.

Halk Pads are a bolt up..

I did mine...

Tony can talk you through it - You jack the car up.. Loosen the retaining bolts for the calipers.. Swing up the calipers..

Change Pads..

Bolt down the calipers..

See you tommorrow as Tony sorts out the Greddy TT install..

Cheers Amy -

yah I would like to learn how to do this. Maybe Tony can spot me and tutor me on the install. I'll bring them tommorow and see if I can do it. Damn I wish I was more mechanically inclined to do this.

My Howto should guide you through the process. I had no fitment issues either. Just slide them where the old ones went and you're off. The only thing I could think of that would cause someone to think they don't fit is if they didn't retract the calipers and their old pads had worn then the new ones being thicker won't just slide in.

I had fitment issues. Only on one front pad with the HPS, just had to trim a corner of the backing plate (it was too wide, not too thick). When I installed HP+, I had to trim all of them about 1/16th of an inch. oh yeah, thats for the brembo pads.
