I just got my Z and I got the aero package but it didn't come from the factory with it installed. The rear spolier comes in wednesday but they said nothing of the front aero deflector I was wonder if this is it if not can some one post a pic?

 

Yeah, you're missing it. Its really nothin much, just a little spoiler about 3 inches back from the front of the bumper lip... but you paid for it so tell them you want it installed.

 

oh i forgot about that lip thing. when ibought my z last year it was wrapped up from the factory in my trunk. i guess it should be simple to install, i'm gonna dig that lip out of my garage and might as well try to install it.

 

I too got the Aerodynamic Package ~ $560. I have the rear spoiler but I too only have the black strip on the front. Should I have something different?

The front aero deflector gets installed by the dealership when it arrives from the factory. Its possible that they didnt install it.

 

I got the aero package from the dealer on mine and it looks like they didn't install the front deflector. I would go back and complain but I'm not going to bother because I'm lowering my Z soon and it's prolly gonna take a beating anyways

 

i always knew that i had it because i got the aero package but i never knew what the front one looked like

 

What are you planning to use to lower your Z ?

The same thing happened to me too. The dealer installed the rear spoiler, but the front one was left unwrapped inside the trunk. I haven't had a chance to go back for it yet, since the tech guys at the service dept. leave at 4:00 pm...I'm kinda like WTF, how can they expect customers go in before 4:00 pm for services?

 

That's weird. I have the front spoiler but no back one....is that possible? I bought mine used (11k miles). Performance model.

 

it is a new piece... gets scraped up..they usually take it off used cars...

Hey x, welcome aboard. I'm a Buffalonian too! Question-who'd you buy your car from and how come you let them put a front license plate on? Congrats on your purchase and enjoy!

 

I got it from auto place nissan, the front plate is in the grill I have the plate adapter. I have it on becouse I'n not giving the cops any reason to pull me over

 

I may have to order one. My deflector looks like someone chewed on it.

I got mine from Performance Nissan Parts.

Ignore the water, the pics were after a wash.

I installed mine on ground level without jacking the car up. Took me a while to realize that I needed to have it go under the two flaps on the sides too. Other than that, it was really easy to install.
