How do I find out my order number

What if the dealer says he doesnt have one for me. Then what doest that mean? I ordered in Mid-March with an expected delivery date of early October....moved to Mid-November 2 weeks ago and now Mid-December....trying to find out if I am getting Dic$ed around

On what date in September did you order and on what date did you find out your order number? I ordered Sept. 13 and the dealer said they sent in the order by mail, but they also said that NNA wouldn't process the order until the first week of October. I'm trying to figure out when I should get the order number.

I put in my order around the 10th of September. I just called my dealer, and he said I should receive the order number in the mail within 10 business days from today. If not, I have to call him back. We'll see. ETA of delivery is Dec/Jan.

How to get order number.
The dealer called and gave me my vin number a week ago. I ordered June 1st and a delivery date of Oct 22nd. My sure that this dock strike will set it back a few weeks though. Seems like people on the west coast are getting earlier delivery ? I still don't have an order number though.

Dealer will provide the order number. To make some of you feel better I pre-ordered March 13th @ Garden Grove Nissan. Rec'd my 'V" number 9/24. My ETA from day one has been Dec. Why do I feel like somebody has dropped the ball???

I also ordered from Garden Grove Nissan from the fleet manager. I ordered June 13. I didnt get an order number until august -V33139. He told me to expect delivery December.
From what he told me, he had already sold out his pre-order allocation in March. So mine was a regular inventory order and was not processed until he had more allocation in august to sell. This is what may have happened to you especially if you did not receive a confirmation packet from NNA.

Thanks for the info. I think Rob may not have made it as clear as he should have, or I was so freakin excited about ordering I didn't hear a thing he was saying. In any event no big deal. I've waited this long, a little longer won't kill me. It's giving me time to gear up for it.
I did not receive a confirmation packet so what you are saying makes perfect sense.
