Would have bought a base if I could got a deal on one, none left in the showrooms around here. Checked the VIN, the car I bought is a 2004.5.

Dont forget to consider picking one up thats used. I got my '03 Touring loaded with 6k miles on the clock for $27,100 out the door. Let some other sucker pay the initial depreciation, all the same warranties still apply.

In the end I got a good deal on an unregistered (new) 2004.5 - sticker was $30,098 on a well optioned 6MT Enthusiast, after a couple of days hard haggling I got a walk out the door price including TT&T of $26749 including the $2000 Nissan rebate. The actual car cost was $24778. Bingo.

Thats a great deal!

I dont like haggleing for a couple of days, so when I buy a car, I tell them what I will pay and tell them that they have an hour to close the deal and send me on my way in it. When an hour has passed, I tell them so, and get up to leave....you wouldnt believe how fast theyll cut the salesman/manager bs...lol

i bought my 05 base a month ago for 28k out of the door. (add some options)

but only few months ago (during the "Nissan's Year Ending Sale" period) in this same dealer, i checked the price for a 04 enthusiast, they offered me an out-door price at 27k. i didnt buy it as its not the color i want. kinda get regretted!!!
