Question What is the OPTIMAL shifting point?

Where does everybody shift to get maximum power for the Z?

At what RPM do you notice the power flatlines?

Depends, max torque is at 4000 rpm, and max HP is at 6700. Take your pick, but choose wisely

I must be weird then, cause I usually shift around 3-3500RPM. I also find myself shifting from 2nd or 3rd gear right into 6th, because at that point I'm already doing the max speed limit (city driving)....

Ahhhh, the interstate....

I don't think he's talking about sunday driving.

For maximum performance, shift at redline.
