So I'm checking out some stuff online (before settling in for a night with my350z.com), and I see this couple outside my window (I live on the 2nd floor) wandering about in the parking lot for my complex. They sidle up close to my Z, and I figure they might be going to the '96 Alty next to my Z, but it looked wrong, because I've seen the owner of the Alty and he wasn't Asian. So then the two of them start checking out my Z, and the girl especially is looking in to see the interior (the frost leather should be a nice treat for her eyes). They linger for a good five minutes before moving on. Shweet!

 

Nice! But admit it, you were sittin there like "dont touch it, dont touch it, dont touch it..." lol I do the same.

 

ditto...just a couple days ago i caught a car full of people simutaneously checked out my car when they passed by....

 

I had a guy out front of Starbucks ohhh and ahhh over my Z just two days ago. I took this a major compliment because this particular Starbucks has a row of parking spaces right in front of the outside patio and in front of the bay windows, so it attracts a lot of people parking there nice cars there. Everything from tricked out Hondas to Ferraris.
People still definately check out the Z. As far as exterior mods, I only have a replica Nismo wing.

 

today i was walking to my car while these ppl were in front of me. they were walking towards my car and i just hung back a little to see what they were going to do. all i heard was "thats a nissan 350z" and "must be a fun car". then i went to my car and drove home.

 

Actually I was more like "don't touch her don't touch her don't touch her ". I would've let the girl touch her though.

 

I just got mine yesterday. I went to a pay lot to park it yesterday. The attendant told me I should park diagonal in two spots up near the front of the lot so it wont get scratched. So I go over to the front of the lot and there's Vettes, Benz's, BMW's, and Jags there. Cool!!! I got a $30K car that's getitng $60K car respect. I never got that with my truck.

Once I got a guy said "Nice car! Is it as good as magazines said?" to me, I replied "Definitely!"

 

I was driving just yesterday and this silverstone Z pulled up. I swear I was just staring at it and listening to the exhaust with my windows down.

It is amazing that even after owning my own how amazed I am just watching the car from a different perspective. By the way SIlverstone is an amazing color at night...I like it almost as much as my SB!

I must say I am SO glad I bought this car!

 

I took my Z and my C5 to a car show and the Z attracted more attention from the 4-35 age category and the older folks preferred the Vette.

 

even if i see a z a mile away i would stare. yeah, even if its a different color, it really gives a whole new perspective.

 

i check out other Zs as well

 

I notice every time I see another Z on the road, the owner of that car is usually checking mine out while I check his out

 

I admit the Z always get looks, except the other day while I was on the way to Newport Beach ( So. Cali) this guy in a Ferrari Scag I think by the way it looks didn't even glance, OOOO I wish he did...

 

Heck, I had another Z owner yesterday checking out my Z and asking me what color I painted my car because it wasn't on the Nissan website and if my Z was a limited-edition. I told him that the color was Brickyard and that it had the Kaminari body kit. He looked at me funny and goes "Really?, I don't remember seeing those as available options." Go figure, I thought everybody new about the Brickyard color.

 

I had a 5 year old kid hang out the window of a car and yell "That car is on my calendar!!" I had 38 miles on the car at the time, it felt pretty good hearing that 30 minutes after taking delivery of the car.
