Default Noobie Question about different trim levels

I'm looking into buying a Z very soon. I've found one for sale from a lady who doesn' t know anything about her car.

So, naturally, before buying a used vehicle, I want to get a rough idea of what the car is worth. Nadaguides.com lists the following possible trim levels:

Coupe 2D
Coupe 2D Enthusiast
Coupe 2D Performance
Coupe 2D Touring
Coupe 2D Track

What are the easiest ways to tell the difference between different trim levels?

The car I'm looking at has has some of the following featres:

Bose Sound System
Climate Control
Heated Seats
Leather Upholstery
Navigational System

I didn't know if these were standard... It sounds a little more luxury than I expected from a sports car, so I figured that maybe this was the touring package.

Any insight you people can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Base Z :
It all starts with a 287-hp 3.5 liter V6 engine, 6-speed manual transmission, 17" aluminum-alloy wheels, Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) and CD system.

Enthusiast Z :
Enhance Z's traction even more with Traction Control System (TCS), limited-slip differential, high intensity discharge (HID) xenon headlights and aluminum pedals.

Performance Z :
Includes all Enthusiast equipment plus Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS), 18" aluminum-alloy wheels and high-performance tires.

Touring Z :
Dials up the amenities thanks to a Bose® audio system with an in-dash 6-CD changer, leather-appointed seats, power seats and heated seats/mirrors.

Track Z :
When too much performance isn't enough, Brembo® braking system, super-lightweight 18" forged alloy wheels, front chin spoiler, and rear underbody diffusers.

hope this helps a little

That's definitely a Touring model that you're looking at....only the touring models have leather and Bose.

*Base Z , Performance Z and Track Z comes only with manual transmission , while in Touring and Enthusiast you can choose between either 6 speed or auto..

*Touring Z is the only model that comes with leather seats

*Base + Enthusiast - in those 2 models there's no Navigation option , and they come with 17 " rims ( while other models with 18 " )

* Track Z - gets Brembo brakes

Welcome to the club....there's a whole bunch of extremely active Z owners here in New England, so be sure to check the northeast forum.

Unless, of course, the leather and Bose are aftermarket. Then it could be a base model that she's trying to sell as a Touring - but hopefully not.

Is this car an AT or MT? If the car doesn't have any instrumentation on the steering wheel, then the car is a Base (only model with the "clean" steering wheel, per se ).

Yep, there are buttons on the right hand side of the steering wheel.

True dat...but considering erc's description of the owner as being clueless about the car, I doubt it.
