My dealer just called me and told me my cars production was scheduled for July and delivery should be in August. I'm third in line at the dealer. WooooHooooo!!!

One other thing...read into this what you will...I won't even go there. My dealer told me my car was number three in line for production out of their allotment...but I know I wasn't the third person to order one at this dealer. I think I was number 7 out of 10 (no voyager jokes, please....this is serious business!)

I believe it was seven of nine on Voyager. Gotta love the costume designers in that series.

 

I ordered mine on 1/16/02 so that means mine should be arriving ... just about now. Naaa. I'm 1st on my dealers allocation so I'm just hoping that the Aug delivery is true. Great news Tim.

 

Was this like a daily thing for 2 weeks, to get your order placed? Did they serve meals during the process?

 

hehehe...no they didn't serve meals...had to get food delivered to my tent out front of the dealership. And let me tell you, there's one bigass patch of grass that ain't growing back any time soon.

Thanks to your post, I call my dealer Internet manager, who sold me the car, on Tuesday, 2 phone messages and 1 email later, no respones, I had it (typical car dealer salesman). I called today and demanded to talk to the dealer GM. Got my order number and delivery date of September 2. I ordered Jan. 2, #7 on my dealer list. It will be a great loooooooooong labor day weekend for me.

Last time I was at the dealer (about two weeks ago), my sales guy told me to come take a look at "the board"...a large board with little magnetic cards showing all their orders and deliveries. Mine was up there, but mysteriously the date had disappeared. The sales guy started bitching at the sales manager about where the dates where. He didn't know (yeah right!) Anyway...I'm going to go back next week, digital camera in hand...well, maybe in pocket...and try to snap a shot of the board if the dates are back up.

 

I am getting mine in august, I was "5" of 7 or 8, ordered a chrome silver AT/touring...............I was the only car on the dealers production status report to date(see post by seattle 350Z) I can hardly wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like you may be one of the select few to receive theirs in August. I think I saw another post where the dealer said their first car was going to be a chrome AT touring. That must be the first run of cars. Way to pick 'em!

Any guesses on this weekends Lotto numbers?
