Angry My *$#&!* Car Wasn't Delivered Today

Ever since my salesman called me last Friday and said my car would be here on 10/9 (that was today), I've been floating 3 feet off the ground. I hardly slept last night thinking about picking up my Z. Waited for "the call" all day, and finally gave in at 4pm and called the dealership. All they had to say was "nope, no cars showed up today - maybe it will be here by Friday". *#&%@*!!!
I don't know how much longer I can take it - I think I'm gonna blow!
Thanks for listening (or reading), I feel better now.

Is your car in nissandriven.com's inventory? If so, I'd check with the dealer on a near-daily basis. It's bound to show up soon.

Anyhow, I feel your pain. I thought I'd have my car a few days before I actually got it, but now that it's in the garage, I've completely forgotten about the wait.

Which reminds me. I think I need to go get a fresh quart of milk. In Wisconsin...

Hang in there the last few days were the worst for me, so close but yet so far, it is torture but the end is near.

My dealer is very small and doesn't even have a website. Their inventory can't be accessed through nissandriven.com. In fact, almost none of the Nissan dealers in Indiana have online inventory access.
I guess that is one of the drawbacks to living in the middle of nowhere.

The car should show on the Nissan Website

put in your zip code and click on check dealer inventory when you locate your dealer. The inventory system is from Nissan and has nothing to do with the dealer having a website or size of the dealership. If your VIN is not on that website it has not been released to the trucking company yet.

Oh no!!! We were talking about you and your wife last night and figured you were still out driving around. I am so sorry. I really do feel your pain. Westpak is right, the last few days are the worst. Don't let this discourage you or dampen your enthusiasm for the car. Once you see it in person, all the frustration will disappear. We are keeping our fingers crossed for you!

My bad - you are correct. The car shows up in their inventory.
The dealer says they saw it come into their inventory Monday.

Wow, if it made it there on Monday you should have it anyday now, I would suggest checking with the dealer on a regular basis (hourly), personally I went by the dealer daily just to check, another trick I used was to call the service department and play ignorant and just ask if they had received any Z's that day, they would answer yes or no and suggest I talk to the sales guys but I had my answer. If you can't tell I didn't trust my dealer much, your story might be different.
