Nissan Emblem Removal Help
I found a thread using the search engine but I am still not clear on how to remove the Nissan emblems. I bought the Z emblems from Courtesy and want to install them but I am afraid I will somehow F this up.
Can someone explain exactly how to remove and install the new emblems ??????? The thread I read said to use floss...........I assume they meant to slide it behind the emblem and pop it off, just not sure. The front does not set up like the back does. Is there a different technique to remove it?
Thanks

I've yet to try but I've read that you should use a hairdryer to soften up the sticky stuff and then it should come off by pulling it if not use the floss to help get down behind the emblem then after it's off use some goo be gone "local parts place should have it"
I believe the rear hambuger if you have a coupe is held in with revits so if you remove it you will have to fill the holes
however, the convert 350Z is only held on with the double sided tape stuff

yeah it was easy for me
ok take a hiar dryer and heat up the emblems to make the double sided tape soft and less sticky . after this it should come off easy if not use something plastic to pry it off. i used a plastic fork like you get at a fast food restaurant. ok if there is any tape still stuck to the car use some adhesive remover like goo gone. or you might have luck with just warm soapy water. actually my emblems didnt leave any tape.
as for putting them on the front is real easy since the new emblem fits right in the indention and the emblems already doem with adhesive on them
the back is a little more tricky since you run a risk of getting it crooked with luck there will be some tape residue from the stock one you can just stick it over this.
are you getting the new emblems they just came out with or the older ones thalt look like the side badges?
just PM me if this doenst answer all your questions

Both emblems they sent me have small pegs on them. I was thinking the rear would also have holes so getting them straight wouldn't be difficult.
The back emblem does not have holes ?
