Default Went to the dealer for an oil change and came back with a broken car.

Took it in for an oil change today. (Changing the oil on a Z thats lowered is a project in itself) Go to pick up my car and dude was like...you're going to be mad. They pull my car up and the drivers side front mud flap and sideskirt was pulled down and back. "Supposedly" the guy who pulled it in got it caught on the lift and was smart enough to keep moving forward. So now I have a f@cked up @ss flap and side skirt. They even had the audacity to expect me to pay for the oil change still. I had to "suggest" to the guy that I shouldn't have to pay for them to f@ck up my car. So now dude says its going to be about a week and a half before they can get the parts and paint them and get my car fixed. Right now it looks like they are going to have to replace the mud flap, side skirt, and fender. Motherf@ckers.

I'm actually not in MIa right now. grew up there. Came to Cali when i joined the Marines. Going back soon though. it was Mossy Nissan Oceansdie for you SoCal folks. I usually do everything myself. Thats what sucks. the Z is the first car I've ever TAKEN to get its oil changed. After I put on the B&G springs it was a pain cause I had to use blocks just to get my car high enough for a jack to fit underneath it. It just 10k and this was going to be the last time. From now on i was just going to deal with it and use Syn. Murphy's law man. From now on my car aint going NEAR the delaer if I can help it. And if it does I'm going to demand they let me watch it start to finish.

I used to think living in socal where the import scene is so big that i was lucky having a dealer who has done cams in a Z and other stuff. Now this happens. Pretty weak if you ask me. I mean how hard is it to see that a mud flap is going to hit something and avoid it? Come one these are ASE certified mecahincs and they cant get a car on a lift without damaging the body. How hard is it? And how come it can get aligned without having the mud flap damaged. WTF.

Usually those big import people have their own mechanics at special shops such as Signal Auto in Torrance n stuff. But still, dealers shouldve done better. Maybe you would have been better off asking to use their equipment and do it yourself.

Please don't tell me your going to pay for the oil change. After some ******** like that, they should go well beyond what it takes to be accomdating and apologetic for screwing your car up.

Make a huge stink over it, and open up an issue with nissan's corporate office. I'm sure they'll be sorry as hell after that.

So they made a mistake....at least they fessed up to it.....let them fix it, and if you still don't like the outcome, then start your whining....I'm sure in life you hav'nt been 100% perfect.
