The cicadas SPLAT on the front of my Z and now NO bug remover will help!
Those cicadas that were everywhere on the east coast for about 6 weeks left a few spots on my bumper that seem to have eaten through the clear coat, I even tried a lite adhesive remover and the proteins wont come off!
Anyone know any other good products? Also.
I have Volk GT-C's in gunmetal with the polished lip. About 3 weeks ago some genious that washed my car allowed some tire shine to drip onto the finish, and now the chrome (polished) metal has blueish annodized marks in the lip where the tire shine dripped on. They say they are not responsible, and I tried a Mothers brand ALL METAL POLISH but it didnt remove the marks, ARE THEY PERMANENT? Or does anyone know any other good products to help me get a new finish from that metal?

DM,
I advise claying your front bumper. It will definitely remove the bug. Also try this on your wheel where the blue "stains" are. I have found after long interstate drives that claying your bumper is about the only thing worth a damn.
