I know you can lower them, I RTFMed lol but I can't for the life of me figure out how to raise them with the keyfob. I know you can put the key into the manual lock and turn it to lock to raise the windows but can you do it with the keyfob?
Sorry for the stupid question.

If it was a safety issue, wouldn't it be safer to have the windows roll up with the key fob, rather than having them roll down? Anyway, I have a Compustar Alarm that does both the windows up and down, but I can't seem to break the habit of rolling the windows up myself before turning off the car.

they're imagining if something or someone's head being in the way of a window that you're rolling up with the keyfob.

i talked to someone that works with cars. it actually is a safety issue for the following reason: When using the key in the keyhole you are at the car and can make sure that nothing is in the way while the windows are closing. Using the keyfob, being that you are not close to the car, there may be something in the way of the window while it is closing. Since the windows aren't designed to stop trying to close if they feel some sort of opposing force (like a kids head) the window will keep pushing itself closed. Some sunroofs are designed to stop closing if something is stuck there, but windows aren't. I know a buddy of mine whose brother got his head stuck in the window...not from the keyfob...thats just another story....

Ours cars do have pinch guard, but I would imagine Nissan did this as an extra precautionary measure. After all, it could fail.
They had on the news yesterday about windows closing while children had their heads/bodies out the window and how manufacturers are addressing this issue to prevent this from happening.
