Default Photos of the 350Zs at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

First off, a little background. There were 3 JDM 350zs, two with custom AWD and rb26 power plants making 800+ hp at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. I am a professional photograher and here are some proofs of the z33 shots I got, if you want a larger file let me know. I lost two assignments and am holding about a $380.00 defficit right now. For a very small (a dollar) fee i'll send the 1.6 megapixle file (2.2 mb). And if anyone wants them I'll do prints for cheap, just a little above cost.

I can be e-mailed at hockeyhead_ "at" hotmail.com

Too bad you couldn't get a picture of underneath the car. I like the idea of AWD but I don't like the fact they used the rb26det. For all of teh money they put into the car, might as well have gone all the way and used teh original engines......

BTW, nice pics!! Do you know what place they finished?

1.6MP photos are no where's near 2.2MB

In my years of shooting 2.2MB is nearing the 4-5MP, hell I typically shoot at 3.3 and at max quality it's only 1.8ish...

How about a little more info, and a little less sob story about how you're out of money and trying to make some.

If you're looking to sell your photos, email the admin... they can set you up a vendor account, and we will buy your photos.

Those shots are pretty sick looking, and I guarantee you could turn a profit.

1.6 Megapixles because I am still in the stone age and won't give up $5,000.00 on print equipment to go digital and thats what my negative scanner does (I just use it for sending large proofs, raw file but 1.6 mega pixel resolution).

I missed the tech session for these cars and they were lowered enough I couldn't get any of my equipment under the car. Although last year Zeele ran some 350zs and and they modified an attessa system. From what I could understand its a full electronic and "smart" awd system, much like the systems used in most WRC cars.

The 888 car of Yoshihiro Oi, also the one there is the most action shots of, finished second in his class with a time of 12.18.82, averaging 60.49 miles per hour over the 12.4 mile 156 turn course with exposures up to 6,000 feet. Oi was beat by Robby Unser in a JDM WRX and was being beaten by a Denver based driver in an Audi S4 until the freshly built S4 pulled an axle out in a turn.

I also have photos of last years cars as well.

The other cars ran in the unlimited class, which ran a shortened course due to weather (hence why I am on websites trying to sell photos to make tuition) and they finished thrid and fourth begind a tricked out 4g63 mid engine powered tube framed awd celica and a ford RS200 driven by a former WRC champ with times of 05:46.35 and 06:26.28.

I'll look into contacting an administrator and getting vendor status, every site has their own policis and terms and conditions tend to blend together after reading enough of them.

I also have some pics of motor cycle, quads, big rigs (yes thats right big rigs) and openwheel racers available.

1.6 megapixel Tiff file would be about 2 MB files.

Here's the catch, I haven't found a lab that will do 20*30 for a reasonable price that I would trust to do a good enough job. I'm very aggressively looking though.

I have to ask, would you pay $30.00 or even $35.00 for one of those shipped to your door on quality photo paper?

The hunt for a lab continues.

I'd pay about $25 shipped for the 4th down of the DB Z, very nice picture. There are always complaints about how there arent any Z posters available, corner the market

I'm going to continue working on cutting costs, and see if I can make it happen. $25 is my target price so far the best I can do it 33, time to keep working at the costs of it all.....

I have one other photo that I was saving to put posters on e-bay of, we'll see what happens, but its of the silver on nice and sideways with a dust cloud.

If I manage to get costs managable I will do a poll of what ones to do posters of.

I can do 8*10s for 10-15 depending on s&h still.....

Have you checked your local Kinko's for posters? I guess they are called Finko's now that FedEx bought them.

Sometimes you can beat them down on the cost. I would do them here, but they would pushing $50.00 just for the print and if I had to do anything to the file it would be more. Wish I could help you out.

The best I could beat them down was 48, photo lab is 27 on my end..... If I can find a way to scan the negatives to high enough of a resolution I can possibly sell them at 25 with s&h.....

Any serious interest in high quality 10*15s of your choice for $20.00 shipped to your door? Still searching for a way to get a high enough resolution scan to do something like a 13*19.

I can deffinitely do 10*15s at a very high quality standard shipped securely to anywhere in the US for 20, need to know the interest before I start a new thread or keep hounding admins to become a vendor.
