I WAS excited to receive my CONVEX driver's side mirror from Australia today:

I should have known, it was delivered by that damn UPS delivery guy in the movie Pet Detective.

Not only is it convex, but you now get multiple angles. Sorry, had to say it. Well at least you can use the insurance to get another one, if you had insurance that is..

was the package insured ?

 

If it's being shipped UPS, there's a significant chance that the product will be damaged. That's a guarantee.

 

The DHL envelope said it was insured. (I was joking when I said UPS earlier.)

Just got a reply email from DONNA (Australia) that they are going to send out a replacement ASAP.

I asked them to package it in a sturdy box........instead of bubble-wrap and a plastic envelope .

 

I was asked (today) where I purchased this mirror.

I did receive a new (not cracked) mirror soon after my original post. They are a top-notch vendor...highly recommended.

 

Tell me that was Insured?

 

YES......they rushed me a new one....I'm very happy with it.

 

hummm ok what is diffrent between the stock mirror and this one that u picked up?

The mirror is curved...it gives you a much wider field of view.
