Wow $3500.00 for brakes...how much better are they then stock? I'll paint the stocks! Would you invest in a new sound system or brakes???

Are you talking about replacing the existing Brembos with a new set just for the color?!?! If so, I guess you could sell the old Brembos to make up a chunk of the price difference.

Stereo or brakes? Two ends of the spectrum don't you think? Depends on what you are doing with your car really. I race so hands down the brakes would be upgraded if I didn't already have the Brembos. However, if I didn't race, the stereo would be the choice.

There are paint kits out there to paint calipers. I saw them on www.fastwrx.com . Might be something you want to look into. It would be a lot cheaper than buying new brakes.

i think the gold color on the track are the best cuz they are exclusive to the 350z i dont see why someone woudl want another color if they really had it

If you would like a new color take your calipers to a coating shop and have them powder coated the color you want. Last the life of the calipers and will not fade.

I thisk the Brembos we used on our race truck were in the $3k range front and $2k+ for the rears. Use dot 5 fluid too, so it wont boil under hard use.

I will keep the stock calipers on my Performance Z and get braded hoses to the calipers. Should keep the pedal feel firm

I don't know about painting or powder coating your existing Brembos - remember that refinishing a set of Brembos will obliterate that nice, contrasting "BREMBO" logo decal peeking out thru the wheel spokes. Better to buy another set should you want to change colors!
