Default Abnormal floor temp ?? WTF ???

Hey Guys,

I was driving around yesterday when my g/f said "hey the bottom of your floor seems to feel very warm". Well she was right, when i put my hand on the floor, it was indeed quite hot. I shruged it off, but she (knowing the almighty power of the my350z forum wanted me to post and ask you guys if its normal.

I also have a Q. My car only has 3000 miles on it, but the brakes seem to squeal, should i take this to the dealership ?

it's pretty normal. i've had the heat get so bad when running through the dragon that i had to turn the floor ac on full blast. this was after i removed the heat shields for the cats to try and eliminate the rattle from the rt cats, so it was probably worse than stock. but with such little insulation and just the metal floor/tunnel it can conduct heat really quickly but it never gets unbareable. and no, you dont need to take the car to the dealer for the brakes; the tend to squeal a little when their cold and unless you go to the track often the won't need to be replaced for at 10-15k miles.
