Bath tub feeling
I had my Z for like 2 weeks now. I still am not used feeling like I am sitting in a bath tub, since the seats are so low and the doors are high (well the window seems to start high when sitting in the car). I was wondering if anyone else felt this way?
I left a friend sitting the car as I went to get something, I remember looking back at car and thinking that she looks small in the car. She is average height for a girl (5'7").

I felt that way at first in my roadster until I figured out how to use the control to raise the seat. It still is a little low for my taste and when the seat is raised my thighs are real close to the steering wheel. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a sports car and not a SUV.
you get used to it. actually, after over a year of driving the Z, i feel funny driving cars with low sides that you can see out of. i kinda feel unprotected without the high walls of the Z, heh. plus it looks pimp with smaller side windows.
I like the high sides; makes me feel more secure. And, in fact, the Zzzz scores very high in crash tests.
Plus I'm 6' 2" so I can still hang my arm out the window.
On your fundamental point, though, yeah, it does give you a tub feel at first.

I LOOOVE how the windows are high, the wheel and gauges are all directly in front of you, ect.
I feel like I'm driving a bus in anythign else. Hate having to look slightly down at the gauges, and don't like the window being so low.

Same here, I love the lower feeling and the windows up high. although i'm only 5'7 myself so i can't hang my arm out the window hehe. I got the same feeling driving my cousin's NSX as well, but that car, the window sills weren't as high, you jus sit quite a bit lower compared to the Z.
But now when i sit in my winter car (acura legend) it feels so weird with the seat high, and window sills lower than my shoulder...

I felt much the same at first. After driving a Z32 for 13 years, I was used to having my left elbow at a certian level on the door sill. With the Z33, that same elbow is about 6 inches higher now and it took some getting used to, but I really don't notice it as much now. I've also noticed that people look smaller/shorter than they really are when sitting in the car...kind of a neat effect though. Enjoy your Z.
I felt the same way when I first got the car, but now, I feel weird when I drive my buddy's STi because you are positioned so much higher in that car than the Z. It feels like I'm sitting on top of phone books when I'm in the STi.
When I test drove the car, I had the exact same feeling. It took me about a week to get used to it. I drove my mother's 1994 Concorde the other day... it felt soooo wierd... like i was sitting on top of the car... I guess it's whatever you get used to.
The 'Z' is simply following current exotic car styling ques (the Galardos and Carrera GTs seem similar).
I suppose the remedy could be an old MG or a Lotus Super Seven..low door sills, window 'flaps', and minimal tops :-)

People spend lots of money getting their cars chopped and channeled just to get the same look your car comes with from the factory. Be happy, and don't worry, you won't notice it after a few months.
