Default New Z emblem (no more Nissan burgers)

Ordered thru Courtesy Nissan(vendor on this site), excellent service, received emails and UPS tracking number as requested. Very happy customer here.

Below are what I ordered. I'm particularly happy with new Z emblem:

Back side of the emblem. Peel off the red tape and it's ready to go on the car:

When you removed your rear emblem, were there any holes in the sheet metal? ... does the old emblem have pins that go into the body on the 2004 touring?

Thanks

311roadster:
On COUPE model: there are holes after removing rear emblem. Sorry, I am not sure if old emblem has pins in the back. Will know later though.
On ROADSTER model: there is no hole (I heard other roaster member mentioned)

synth19:
Just got home and opened the package, will install later and show pics.

How did you remove the old emblems? Was it difficult? Does that red tape really hold the emblem on there firmly?
