Does anyone have any cool Ideas on Custom Plate. Im ganna get them. I really wanted Driven but thats been used already in minnesota. thanks ,, Chris

Only you can decide what you want to say to the world on the back of your Z...you can go anywhere with this from expressing feelings for someone or something to just telling the world who you are or what you do..as long as it means something to you, it won't even matter if anyone else can't figure it out...good luck

 

I can't order a personalized tag here in Florida until I have a VIN number. Although I am in the "first allotment", I am told I won't have a VIN number until the car is on the boat in August. The tag agency advises it will take 45-60 days to make the personalized tag, so I will probably have to wait on my tag.

 

Why don't you order the tag for you're current car and then swap it to the Z when it arrives ? Just a suggestion. That will allow you to hold a desired custom tag until you get the Z.

 

Thanks for the idea, but my current car is a lease "owned by BMW Financial." I am buying the Z, so there are different owners and the tag won't transfer in Florida.

NIZZAN (everyones favorite)
ZZZIMA (my names nima so it seemed fit, i dunno if this is allowed though cause its an alcoholic beverage)

well i cant think of anything else... but hopefully other people have good ideas

In Ca you can reserve a plate without a car or VIN. I reserved "FEARMYZ" for my black track but I don't know. Maybe a little too egotistical. What the hell though. I like it and I can drive pretty well at the track so why not

Wish Japan would adopt a system of personalized license plates. Might provide a financial boost in a small way -- but given the current state ... every little bit helps.

 

Excellent Question!!! I can see why you 'publicly' asked this, it's a tuff decision. VERY TUFF!!! I have had 3 different personal plates, and I am still having a damn hard time deciding what to put on my Z???
My advice: Simple, Catchy, Unique!
Kinda like what I have on my LEXUS, which is a pretty "priceless" word to have here in Plano/Dallas with all the bad-a** cars rolling around here! My plates are exactly the same as my username.

 

how about ZMEGO or ZYALTR... too cheesy??? Ive never been one to get a custom plate done. Only have had one car and thats my celica *the girly car* But for this car, I think its WORTH it. I get chills just thinking about it.

 

Nope. Almost bought a Maxima, but opted for the SVT Contour. Fantastic car and just paid it off and will keep it as the daily driver. Now I am waiting for the Z...
