Question Rear Axels on backorder

Just brought my car in today, to get the my axels fixed, the service manager told me they've been on back order since june 28th... Sux...

Is the Z safe for short distance trips when the axels click?

Getting tires didnt seem like a problem for those with feathering issues...

All they need to do is tighten the axle nuts to get rid of the clicking noise. I never got mine replaced. Clicking noise never came back.

The TSB calls for replacing the CV boot and bearing, which is what I had done...

Is the rear axle going to click all the time? Or they just click sometimes?
I have clicking sound from the back sometimes, don't know what it is....

Yup...just called in to see the status of my repair parts. Surprise, surprise!...they're on back order even though they said it would be in this past week. Oh well...Nissan is doing better and better at winning my loyalty.

whats strange is... why the tsb calls for tighten of the bolts yet, axles need to be ordered... i wonder if the clicking damages the axle over a longer period of time.

Is this the noise that occurs when shifting gears? I tried to locate the origin of the sound but really couldn't pinpoint it. It always sounded as if it was coming from the tranny or something more towards the middle of the car.
