Default Ever heard of a 350Z getting stolen?

I was wondering about the security on the 350? I am guessing that the chip in the key makes it diffcuilt to hot wire or start with a screwdriver. I figure it would take an experienced thief to steal it, since they would have override that mechanism to start the car.

Has anyone had their Z stolen or has heard of a Z getting stolen?

I hate depending on the OEM alarm, or should I say remote door unlocker.

My friend had his 98 Acura Integra LSR stolen right out of his thin one car driveway with ANOTHER CAR BLOCKING HIM FROM BEHIND!! They pushed it onto the grass, rolled it down the hill and started it right on the highway on-ramp.

All he had was the OEM Acura alarm, from which in my opinion works well if you want to lock/unlock your doors, sound the horn if the vehicle is locked and you try to open the doors (try breaking the windows or hitting the car with a shopping cart??) and make the horn sound with the panic button. I don't believe those OEM alarms provide an engine starter kill, shock sensors, etc...I invested in LoJack and the Viper 670XV two way transmitter alarm (although I would like farther range for the transmitter, say if I was in the mall or movies)........................what are other members feelings on LoJack??

I know a member on this board who had his Roadster Stolen.
They recovered it in Tijuana Mexico.
