I usually get mistaken for a Boxster... no problem there.
Although a guy pulled up to me and asked if it was a Tiburon. I put my head back against the headrest and burst out laughing... he felt kinda stupid...
Then again, can everyone tell the difference between a Spitfire, Hurricane, Mustang, Typhoon, etc... we're into cars, to us there's a huge difference between a Z and an RX8... for someone who views cars as just transportation, they've both got 4 wheels, so they look the same.

Oh yes.....Same thing has happened to me but get this....
It was at an Advanced Auto Parts Store!!!!!
Both workers came out and said "Hey can we check out your new RX-8"!
My girlfriend about busted out laughing.....and I had to calmly tell them: "No you can't look at my RX-8 because I don't have one! Its a 350Z!"
