Hawk HPS's are liek $65 front and $55 rear. The Nismo ones are about double that, and are more for racing than street.

49.99 is for the front only.As you know the back does not throw out a lot of dust so there not even worth changing. There are ceramic pads that start as low as 35.00,but i would stick to a name brand like bendix.

I payed like 120 for HPS + shipping. Almost no front brake dust and very quiet. I like the feel of them more too, not so abrupt. But the fact that there are no more dirty rims is the obvious gain and what a relief!!

Thanks for the info. I have not looked close at the brakes with the wheels off, are the pads simple to swap out? I like to do something about that dang dust.

Strange thing - I bought a new 1990 300 ZX - drove it 25,000
miles - was not expecially an easy driver all the time - and I never had all that brake dust that I am getting on the 350Z. I never replaced them on the 300ZX either. Thinking back - I'm wondering why the big difference.

Those new pads will have to break in... Give them a good 1k miles, and THEN report to us on how the dusting is.

Could they be worse than the stock pads though? I mean, I'd be surprised if one could find a pad that produces more dust than the stock ones.
