Here they are (sorry it's cloudy today so the lighting is bad). This is the Axis wheels car that will be used for demoing, probably to debut at SEMA next month. Still has the stock wheels on it obviously though, but it looks like it's been lowered.

Its not that dull, but hard to tell with this lighting. The pics of it next to my car at the end there should give you an idea though, assuming you know what Daytona Blue looks like in person.
It's also probably the only 350z out there without orange peel.

Great catch!
I like the silver console trim- i'd pass on all the gaudy yellow accents though.
As far as the yellow goes- I do like yellow- but I prefer more Ferrari Yellow than Taxi Cab yellow to be honest...

I liked the looks of the smooth plastic interior bits compared to the textured plastic from the factory. Was it gloss black or a carbon fiber look? Get rid of the yellow interior bits and its a great look.
Yellow was my first choice for exterior color and I was truly bummed when Nissan didn't offer it factory. If I am ever in an accident (God forbid) that requries a full paint job, that might be a different story.

Pro- Shining center console, rear speaker cover, etc.
Con- Ricey yellow painting on handle, behind center gauge, rear struct tower bar, etc.
Yellow is okay, maybe it looks better on a sunny day

Why do I always get so annoyed at people who customise their cars like that..if I see one on the street I *REFUSE* to look at the car or give them any indication I see it..but it maddens me?!!
I cant believe someone has that much money they can get a Z and all that custome work..are they compensating for something u think?
I wish I knew how or where to get mine done when I get it:P
Grrrrrr *pissed off*
Why is it some big secret about getting custom stuff done...how does anyone know where to get interiors done ect?
If I wanted a veilslide kit for my car..how and where could I get it done..its a mystery..only *cool* people know (i.e. teenagers with too much money) I guess

That poor Z!
I actually like some yellow photoshopped Z pics I've seen, but you guys are right, this one's like a bus! It looks like crap lowered with the 17s. And the interior is, well, let's say it's just not appealing to me.
If it were 1:10 scale it would be a great example of Testors mastery.
