Default Z delivered EARLY!

Spoke to the dealer on monday and he'd just been informed my Z had a delivery date of 10/21.

Got an email this morning from the dealer saying that he'd new data and it was now due in on 10/18.

Two hours later and I get a call from the dealer.
"Your Z just rolled off the truck. It's the first Daytona Blue we've seen and it's sweeeeeeeeeeet."

Needless to say, I'm headed to the dealer this evening

That is great news. Hope to see the blue streak within the next couple of days. If a guy in a red chevy s-10 flags you over it's me.

Bravo! This is probably the one time when you'll be glad something came too soon.

You should get penalty points for that.

Talking

Well, my wife and I picked the car up tonight and it's everything that everyone's said it is.

Firstly, the color is awesome. I've seen plenty of pictures of the Daytona Blue but they just don't it justice. All the guys at the dealer loved it too, we got comments like "I don't normally like blue cars but that looks sweet!"

We had a blast driving it home - freeway 90% of the way. It was nice to be able to push it up into 6th and still not come near the 4000rpm mark.

My wife's the photography wiz in the house hold and she'll be taking plenty of pictures over the next few days and I'll be sure to post some up here.

Now ... off to catch some zzzz's

My car showed up this morning on inventory - it wasn't there yesterday when I checked.

Darrensi, my wife has told your son that your blue Z is not to enter the Timbercrest Junior High parking lot under any circumstances until her Z arrives and has been there first!

Great looking car, by the way.

It sounds like my son has lined up half the teaching staff for a viewing next week. It's cool to be 13 and have a new sports car

Default Great pics

Your wife took some awesome pics, the blue is absolutely stunning in the sun...I would have ordered the blue as well, but I traded in a blue 300ZX, had to change colors. How did you like Nissan of fife? When did you order your car? I got my CS Z there too, dealt alot with Steve...still plan on bringing my car in there for service...she just turned 1300 miles. Rep15 I hope you get your car soon, I'm still dying to see that lemans color in person.Saw a red one in bellvue this morning, first other one I have seen on the road, other than at meets. We must all met when rep15 gets his car!!!!!!

Marcy, haven't heard from you for a while. Is all going well with the car? Perhaps my elusive 350 will come between now and the end of the month but who knows. The red Z you saw in Bellevue, was it redline of brickyard? I have to get down to Building 9 at Microsoft to see if I can get a preview of that brickyard. When the car comes we will get together! Whichever color.

As you can see from these posts I am not even the first in my neighborhood to get a Z. That darn darrensi.
