For those of you who are in the same boat I am (still desperately waiting for your Z), I dropped by my dealer today and found out something interesting...they're tracking where the Z is pretty specifically. The guy I'm working with (Victor Miranda at Bates Nissan, Sales Manager, awesome guy) wasn't there but a dealer there told me that they had made some calls this morning and found out that my Z was on a train from California to Dallas!! I have no idea what number they called as this guy didn't know, (I'll call Victor tomorrow and try to find out who they called), but this makes me VERY happy as I know the dock lock-out crap isn't an issue for me anymore. The dealer told me he doesn't know if it's getting loaded on in Cali, or already in Texas, just that "it's on the train, and it could come in ANYTIME between now and the 29th", which is pretty damn exciting for me.
On another note, has anyone else noticed that the wait gets extremely painful when it's this close????
My girlfriend is tired of hearing me say "I want my Z..." every friggin' weekend...

That is good news! My delivery date is 10/23 and i'm hoping that it comes in early (this weekend would be nice). I will have to call my dealer tomorrow and ask if he's has access to the info. you mentioned about the car being on the train.
And yes.. the wait is really becoming painful!
