Those Emblems Look Pretty Cool As Soon As I Got My Car I Thought About That, I Have A Friend Who Did This On A F 150 With Acetone (fingernail Polish Remover)

Wow, someone dug my old thread. Glad everyone is liking the emblem w/ the paint removed. Definitely keep the emblem on the car, there is no need to remove it. It will just make the job more difficult. The 30 coats of Zaino on my car was enough to repel any carb cleaner that got on the paint anyway.

Actually...the handles are plastic too. It's pretty-much an exact match for the silver.

Zaino = Expensive/premium/good car polish. http://www.zainostore.com/

Fairlady = Name of the Z in Japan. Just like the 240 is known as the Sylvia and the G35 is known as the Skyline.

$2.29 for a can of Gumout plus a used toothbrush... No need to remove the emblems, just sparyed on an old T-shirt and made sure not to get on the vehicle paint.

Took me just 20 minutes and it looks great. Thanks for the tips.
