Guys,

How much lower is the V1 lip compared to the stock?

BoostedTed,

Where did you get yours painted at and how much. I am in the SoCal area. Just wondering.

Thanks,
Tony

From the look of the soda can, it doesn't seem like it is much lower than stock (a good thing I guess), but just stick out horizontal more.

Can you confirm this?

Also did you install this yourself? Using the hardware provided and any 3M tape?

Thanks,
Tony

Yeah, thats correct, slightly lower than stock. Just sticks out more on the sides, and appears to be more aerodynamically correct. Also, Im planning on a drop in the future, so I didn't want somethin toooo low.

Also, yeah, I did the install. Double sided tape and 4 self tappers, and a half hour later my car was stylin.

I don't think I wil be trying to drive over any soda cans anytime soon.

And lastly, for clearance, a soda can barely fits under it. So its not so horrible as far as scraping goes. (Stock ride height)

You didn't have any fitment issues with it did you? From the pictures, it looks to be quite snug (no gaps). I'm looking into getting one too, coz i like the nismo-ish look, but the price is great, i don't have to worry so much if i scratch/wreck it.

I saw this lip on ebay as well... looks to be the exact same lip, has anyone had experience with this one?

Fitment, IMO, is about 90%. It was real tight, and there are some slight gaps (enough to bother a perfectionist like myself), but that's the beauty of owning a Superblack. On a white or silver car, your gonna have to spend the extra money if you want the Nismo bumper look, or have a shop you trust to bondo out the gaps and spray it while its on your car.

Same thing, but I'd order it from Intense Motorsports. The ebay one isn't much cheaper than the real, guaranteed new one from IM.
