I just got back from local Nissan dealer and heard from the manager that nissan will replace LeMan Sunset with Canary(?) Yellow for 05.

I hope this is not an old news. if it is... then sorry. =p

 

Well everyone keeps hearing about yellow is a new color for 2005. As far as them droping LeMan Sunset that I didn't know. Guess a color has to be given up for a new one. I just wish they had a nice dark green color.

 

Previous "word" was yellow was replacing LA. First, I've heard of LS going. I doubt it.

 

LeMans Sunset is somewhat of a trademark color for the 350Z. I don't see it going away in the 3rd MY. If it does, that's unfortunate. It's a pretty color.

 

August 4th and no 2005 news, are the folks at Nissan sleeping or in Japan on vacation?

 

bahh yeah it sucks that theres no news on the 2005 350z yet.... i already put money down for a 2005 blue Track... but i have no clue whats new about the 05. Hope to hear some news soon.

 

If that's the case, it just makes mine more rare

i cannot imagine them dropping the lemans sunset and keeping 3 different silvers... two of which is almost indistinguishable from each other.

 

I think they are dropping Liquid Aluminum too

 

LeMans is a great color...they would be making a mistake in dropping it.

 

They need to drop one of their 57 silvers..I think the silver looks to plain for the Z...

 

I'll third that. I've had nothing but compliments on the LS color.

 

they are not dropping ls.....there will be the addition of yellow and only one silver for 05

 

i may be wrong with the silver but i believe thats what i saw when we were making our orders
i cant get into nnanet til after 4am because of site maintanance in the dealer portal section

Aparrently Silver is the best selling color only because they make 3 tones of it..Kind of like not giving people much of a choice.. you can get the Silver one, or how about the Silver one..If your not interested in those two we have a lovely SILVER one you should see...

 

Now, this might not be correct...but I wouldn't doubt it!

I was hoping that Yellow would replace Le Mans! It's nice having a rare car! I'll be happy to join the brickyards!

They could also change the shades on a few colors...like white and blue...just for a little change...even the red.
