Default Hangin with the Big Boys!!!

I had my first chance last night to take on my friends 2001 ram air Firebird,Around 1am on a open road in central jersey. We both have autos,I have to tell you that i held my own up to around 90 before he took me .It wasnt a bad kill either.I have to say that the Z is quite nimble at high speeds.I had to stop around around 110 when my passport went off.We will try it again this week.I"ll be hunting SRT"s Tonight!!!!!!

I agree. Try a carrera or an M3, then get back to us with the results. That being said, have fun and be safe.

Just the other day I went at it with an Evo (we had to, his car was black also ). I took him off the line, then we stayed equal through about 70ish. His bumper stayed at my door the whole race.

Guess those things aren't great off the line unless you really abuse em and drop them high. It sounded like he dropped at like 2000 RPM or so.

I dont think anyone here would dispute that the ram air is a powerful car. I think the point people are trying to make is that these cars are both very common cars, srt-4 and ram air. Its not that hard to find one driving around the streets and they are "basically" (I use that word loosely) straight line fast. Before a flame war starts for that last comment let me explain. Its just quite obvious that people here are more interested, and have slightly more respect for cars that are well rounded race vehicles that can handle track conditions, ie. carrera and M3 as mentioned. Not to take away from the ram air though, its just not the most highly looked upon car on this forum.

Depends on how you define SRT...

this SRT, which is one of my new toys, kills all manner of ferraris and porsches...

wow thanks all for the nice compliments on the new toy...still love the 350Z though, best V6 on the planet IMO, and better than most V8s.

here is a link to more pics of the White Mamba

it's a special limited edition of the SRT-10 - # 146/200
