its only a matter of a week or so before ppl who paid 200 for the original CDs are going to feel ripped. look forward to a 90MB zip file at an ftp site near you.. i hate the digital age!

Well, when the pricing is $300 for a hardcopy and $200 for the CD, it's no wonder people pirate a copy. I wish Nissan would sell these for a more reasonable price, like $100 for hardcopy and $50 for CD (they should just include the CD with the car). That would make people much less likely to "borrow" them. Eh, I'll probably end up buying the hardcopy anyway, even though it feels like a bit of a rip off.

why buy the print? its bulky, unsearchable, and kills trees. just get the CD, do a search on what you want, then print the page(s) DUPLEX!!! if you dont have a laptop.

i, for one, am glad i got the cd.. i copied the files onto both of my laptops (only 100 megs), and i always have a reference on hand. i cant imagine carrying around almost 3000 pages with me.

ymmv.

Plus, if you get the CD, you can always print new pages of the stuff you need, instead of having a greasy shop manual to deal with. You don't have to worry, because you know you'll just trash the pages when you are done. Heck, you might as well mop up that sudden oil spill with the page when you can't reach a shop towel!
