Default JWT popcharger for 5AT

hey, ive had a 5AT Touring for a few months now, and was thinking of getting the JWT popcharger. Do you think that i would have stalling problems like the 6MTs?, is an ECU reset necessary? if so, should i do it by disconnecting the battery or the technosquare method???
Thanks

I have a 5AT Touring as well and that was my first mod. No stalling problems for me and I did reset my ECU by the Technosquare method.

I also have an '04 5AT and installed the Pop Charger on Sunday. Was my first mod. However, I did not reset the ECU. Is it necessary or highly recommended? I wouldn't even know how you go about doing son.

i asked jason at performance if it was necessary to reset the ecu. he said that it was not, so i did not reset mine.

I have had the jwt on my 5AT for 10,000 miles. absoulutly no problems.....except for that bird I sucked in. j/k did not reset ecu and could tell it made a difference because of the increase in severe wheelspin at the drags. that is not a dyno by any means but my Z never came off the line sideways until I put on the pop charger. pilot sports corrected that.

two questions guys:

1. Im considering getting the popcharger..HOWEVER, Ive heard too many horror stories about it though, and a few guys have switched Back to stock +K&N drop-in and felt an INCREASE over the popcharger..any input on this? IS there a noticeable gain over the stock intake (especially those who had the K&N drop-in Before switching to the popcharger? or do you guys just like it for the whistling noise it makes? lol

2. Best place to buy the popcharger+heatshield?

Im stumped...again.

Answer to
1:We just love it for the whistling sound Seriously it seems to have improved throttle response and it looks HOT under the hood (not as much as CAIs but at least theres something there )

2:I got mine for $110 Shipped at UltimateZ.com

If you wanna keep the stock box then check this out:
