What stupid things people do to the Z
In reply to "agustuss"...ditto!
That's how I'm going to use my nose mask when I get it. Only when highway driving where most of the nose and hood dings come from anyway. I drive appx 50 miles daily, all highway, and my 1997 Grand Prix GT has numerous tiny dings acroos the hood.
I strongly feel if I had purchased a nose mask for the GP the nose and hood wouldn't have all these tiny dings.
That's clear-coat paint for ya though.
I don't give a damn if others think it's ugly or not! It's not your car (NOTURZ)...it's mine (MYZ)! Let them go ahead and put the high-dollar 3M bumper sticker on you car and see what the paint looks like in a few years. I wouldn't trust 3M as far as I could throw them!

after I got mine, and had only 5-600 miles on it I realized I had like 10-12 small chips in the nose area.
I got a bra for longer drives to help prevent that.
I DO NOT think it is bad at all.
nothing like long horns and all.
Oh, and to all you texas people who dislike the other side,...
.....what's up with that?

My take on car bras:
They protect the car, but it's like wearing sunglasses all the time to protect your eyes. Nobody ever gets to see what color they are.
As for the UT-A&M war, it's all philosophical. UT is metropolitan, rather liberal ("the Berkeley of the South," some say). A&M is a country school with a big veterinary, ranching-type focus. They have a Corps of Cadets and all sorts of bizarre traditions. Very regimented and old-fashioned. We have less tradition and are quite free spirited.
They have the Bonfire tragedy; we have Charles Whitman.
We at UT say they're hicks; they say we're hippies. Truth is they're both good schools. Different strokes for different folks.
